Student safety is a priority at Marshfield Schools! To ensure student safety, we utilize the Student Security Code System. In order for your student to receive changes in his/her after-school plans OR any message at all, per phone call or note, the caller must know the assigned student security code or the note must have the assigned student security code on it. In addition, bus notes must include the student name, bus # and address the student will be traveling to.

Curriculum
The Marshfield R-I School District implements the Emerging Language & Literacy Curriculum that is Missouri state approved. The Emerging Language & Literacy Curriculum (ELLC) prepares preschoolers for success in kindergarten and gives them a strong foundation in oral language and literacy with this scientifically based curriculum. This program not only addresses all developmental domains with theme-based units, children’s literature, multisensory activities, scaffolded instruction and parental involvement, but also creates an engaging environment with activity and play-based learning. This curriculum model includes all the developmental areas outlined in the Missouri Early Learning Standards.
