Most Influential Blue Jay Staff Member(s):
“Mr. Mason and Mrs. Hyde are both teachers I still think about on a weekly basis!”

Favorite Blue Jay Memory:
“When the Oompa Loompa song played between classes as a fundraiser—once we reached the goal, they’d turn the music off. At first it was annoying, but eventually everyone just became immune to it. ”

Advice to My High School Self:
“Stop worrying so much about what people think—it’s none of your business what people think, say, or do. And for the love of all that is holy, stop waking up at 5 a.m. to curl your hair for school. You’ll want that sleep back someday when you have two toddlers.”

Advice to My High School Self: “Success isn’t measured by your education or how much money you make. It comes in waves of God’s grace and the blessings of children, family, and close friends. And having a little common sense goes a long way.”
