Your Guide to District Communications

Infinite Campus Parent Portal
Parents/guardians can log in to access student-specific information.

Email Communication
Marshfield R-I Schools will send regular email updates to the addresses provided during summer online registration.

Emergency Information
In emergencies, households will be contacted through one or more of the following methods:

  • Text messages
  • Emails
  • Social media

Inclement Weather Alerts
Parents will receive notifications via phone or text if they opted in during registration. For more details, visit our Inclement Weather Protocols page.

SEESAW for Families of Elementary Students

Seesaw gives families a glimpse into the classroom and makes it easy to support student learning.

  • Celebrate Growth: View and comment on your child’s work—even with voice messages!

  • Message Teachers: Ask questions or share updates directly.

  • Track Progress: Monitor learning with a digital journal—no paperwork!

Access Info:
Available via app or website. Login details are provided at Sneak Peek/Meet the Teacher. Contact your child’s teacher if you need help.

Canvas Observer Access for High School Parents/Guardians

Canvas Link

To gain access to your student’s Canvas course:

  1. Student Dashboard: Click Account > Settings > Share with Observer

  2. Get the Code: Use the code provided to link your account in the Canvas Parent App.

Using the Canvas Parent App:

  • Download the Canvas Parent app from your app store.

  • When prompted to “Find School,” enter: marshfieldr1.instructure.com

  • Enter the observer code to connect to your student’s classes.

For help, contact your student’s teacher.

Households will receive the monthly newsletter, Blue Jay Briefings, via email, offering valuable information for all families.
