Back to School Prep Level: Expert
Why sit in a chair when you can sit on the entire English language? Mr. Mason is literally stacking up knowledge to get ready for the new year. Bring on the students — he's got the words to handle it.

Going the Extra Mile
Marshfield Public Schools Foundation Goes the Extra Mile for Students
The Marshfield Public Schools Foundation continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of Blue Jay students—and we couldn’t be more grateful! From awarding scholarships to hosting meaningful events, the Foundation is committed to creating opportunities that support student achievement and celebrate success across the district.
One shining example is this year’s 5K & 1-Mile Walk, which brought the community together in support of a great cause. Proceeds from the event help fund student scholarships, including the Bill Walker Track & Field Memorial Scholarship. This year’s scholarship was awarded to Tyce Jones, who not only earned this special recognition but also posted the fastest 5K time of the day!
A heartfelt thank you goes to Jo Walker and the Walker family for continuing to honor Bill’s legacy through this award.
To the Marshfield Public Schools Foundation—thank you for all you do to invest in the future of our Blue Jays.

MO Saafe Driver Competition
We were proud to welcome the Missouri Safe Driver Competition to Marshfield—right here in our own hometown! Representing our district with skill and professionalism were Frank Potter and Ron Dargel, who took part in this statewide event designed to showcase the best in student transportation safety.
The event began with a Hawaiian-themed dinner on Thursday evening, June 19, thanks to Ashlynn Bradley and her amazing crew who brought the sunshine indoors. A special thank-you goes to Tony Blackwell for all the behind-the-scenes planning that helped set the stage for a smooth and successful event.
Friday’s competition featured multiple challenges, including:
-
A written test covering traffic laws, bus safety, and first aid
-
A defective bus test, where drivers identified mechanical issues under pressure
-
A skills test, putting precision and focus behind the wheel to the test
MOAPT Director Keith Henry and the Board of Directors expressed their sincere appreciation to the Marshfield Administration for hosting this important event and supporting school bus safety across Missouri.
We also extend a huge THANK YOU to:
-
Travis Hampton and the High School custodial team
-
Patrick Porter
-
Tony Blackwell
-
Ashlynn Bradley and her dedicated staff
You all made this event a smooth ride from start to finish!
Way to go, Blue Jays, for showing the state how it’s done!
