Blue Jay Challenge Coins

We are excited to introduce the Blue Jay Challenge Coin—a new way to celebrate the people who make a difference in our schools and community each day.

This meaningful initiative is made possible through our partnership with the Marshfield Public School Foundation. We are incredibly grateful for their support in helping bring this project to life and in continuing to invest in the success of our students and our community.

In Marshfield, we believe that once a Blue Jay, always a Blue Jay. Whether you attend our schools, work in them, or support them from the community, we are all part of one team—working together to prepare each student for a successful future.

The Blue Jay Challenge Coin is a symbol of that shared commitment. Anyone can participate in recognizing a Blue Jay. A student may present a coin to a staff member. A colleague may honor a coworker. A community member may recognize another community member. The possibilities are endless.

At its heart, this is about gratitude. It’s about noticing the everyday moments, the quiet impact, and the meaningful contributions that make Marshfield such a special place. Together, we celebrate each other—and the role we all play in making a difference.

How it Works

  • Stop by the Central Office to pick up a Blue Jay Challenge Coin and an informational "giving card" explaining its meaning.
  • A suggested $5 donation per coin is appreciated to help sustain the program.
  • Share your name and the name of the person you plan to honor when picking up your coin.
  • Present your coin to recognize and celebrate a fellow Blue Jay.
  • Capture the moment! If you’re willing, share a photo or video of the presentation. (Email photos or videos to marshfieldr1@mjays.us so we can celebrate these moments with our community.)
