R. A. Barr Stadium

R.A. Barr Stadium has been a cornerstone of Blue Jay pride since it was named in 1984 to honor longtime Superintendent R.A. Barr. A true Blue Jay at heart, Mr. Barr began his career as a teacher and went on to serve the Marshfield R-I School District as superintendent from 1956–57 through 1984–85. In recognition of his more than three decades of leadership and dedication, the 1984 Marshfield Board of Education proudly named the stadium in his honor. Most recently, the stadium was upgraded with brand-new turf, ready to shine for the Fall 2025 football season. Mr. Barr left behind a lasting legacy—just as so many have in the past and continue to do today. R.A. Barr Stadium stands as a spirited home field and a proud gathering place for our students, families, and the entire Blue Jay community.
